The Art of Entertaining
with Two Raw Sisters
How to make this entertaining season the most entertaining yet with the bestselling Kiwi cookbook authors.
Yes, they are Sisters
Famous foodies. App Creators. Culinary Podcasters. Social Media Moguls. Authors of 5 bestselling, plant-forwards cookbooks, including the recently released ‘More Salad.’ Margo & Rosa have achieved remarkable things since launching ‘Two Raw Sisters’ in 2017, and they’re just getting started.
The New Zealanders began their journey sharing beautiful, vegetable-rich recipes. But their authenticity, nutritional expertise and ability to elevate humble pantry staples into delicious crowdpleasing dishes quickly earned them a global audience.
We partnered with Two Raw Sisters during their recent ‘More Salad’ book launch tour, where they served up their latest recipes in beautiful Freedom tableware. But Rosa and Margo were fans of Freedom long before our collaboration.
While speaking with the sisters in their stylish homes, sitting on their beloved Freedom outdoor sofas, they shared two summer-ready recipes, and unveiled how they plan to create inviting tablescapes during the 2024 entertaining season.
Thoughtful touches
Margo invited us into her peaceful urban courtyard, where she treated us to generous helpings of a delicious salad, served with CAMDEN serving spoons from our CAMDEN wooden bowl. To Margo, hosting is all about creating an inviting atmosphere.
‘Creating a space where my guests feel welcomed and at ease is so important to me,’ said Margo, adding: ‘I like to add thoughtful touches like textured linens and beautiful tableware, adding an effortless elegance to my gatherings.’
But as we reclined on her midcentury-modern inspired BOREE sofa and armchairs, lightly dabbing our mouths with textured linen LINO napkins, we found ourselves politely disagreeing. When it comes to Margo’s entertaining style, ‘effortless elegance’ isn’t an accurate description, it’s an understatement.

Showstopping yet simple
Margo shared a recipe from her latest cookbook ‘More Salad.’ Bursting with flavour, minty overtones and a zesty edge, this showstopping yet simple dessert is perfect for the entertaining season. Here’s the recipe for Margo’s Mint & Lime Strawberries.

Made for Gathering
When she moved to the countryside, Rosa’s house quickly became a ‘destination’ for friends and family; and when we visited, we could immediately see why. The light wood of her Freedom HALLIE
dining table and the rattan detailing on her BANGALOW
chairs echo her rural surroundings, while a minimalist aesthetic instantly puts visitors at ease.
“I love setting the table with fresh minimalist touches to create a warm atmosphere,” said Rosa, before explaining how “freshly cut flowers from the garden, simple tableware and soft linens complete the look.”
Rosa’s dining room embodies her rustic minimalist aesthetic. With white CANOPY
bowls and SOHO
cutlery arranged on linen
placemats next to her resin PESCE
pitcher, the simple colourways and organic shapes and textures complemented the countryside setting without overshadowing the real star of the show: the salads.
Summertime flavours
Rosa showed us a simple-but-stunning dish, also from her and Margo’s latest cookbook ‘More Salad.’ Colourful, healthy and packed with contrasting textures, this recipe delivers big summertime flavours with minimal washing up.
Discover how to create Rosa’s sumptuous one-tray bake, perfect as a side dish or the main course, and serve up something the whole family will love.
