Full-grain versus corrected-grain leather

Premium full-grain leather utilises the top layer of the hide, and bears natural marks and colour variations - it’s super strong but also supple, and will soften over time. For young families and pet owners, corrected-grain leather might be a better choice. It‘s also crafted from the top layer of the hide, but is lightly buffed to create a uniform look, and then a grained pattern is embossed into the leather to restore the natural look and feel. Not only is it easy to clean, but it will often be a more affordable option.​
